"The Matrix" is subtle in America, especially in Middle Class Land.<BR/><BR/>2. "The Matrix" is even more subtle in Hawaii, I think, for other (often positive) cultural reasons: importance of family, importance of friendliness and not stepping on people's toes.<BR/><BR/>3. What makes it worse is that "wrestling with the Matrix," a primarily spiritual reality, has become something of a political reality, which is dangerous in a lot of ways.<BR/><BR/>So where is Pastor Morpheus? Probably at some almost-dead church being faithful to the task God has given him for the time. Either that or he's so "spiritual" that he's unapproachable.<BR/><BR/>I'm thinking of Hebrews 4:12 and 13-- there is a Word that is alive and it cuts deep and reveals much, makes evident what is already present in hints.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
